Property management · Chatham, Ontario
Tenant.ca manages rental condos, apartments and townhomes in Chatham, including units that SIREG managed or that were sold through The Simple Investor. One team handles tenant communication, rent monitoring, maintenance coordination and owner reporting, and you follow it all in the owner portal.

Renting out a unit in Chatham
Chatham is the largest community in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, on the Thames River between London and Windsor. Rentals are mostly low-rise apartment buildings, townhouses and houses, in a smaller market than the cities on either side of it.
We take on individually owned condominium units, apartments and townhomes in Chatham, including units in buildings that SIREG managed. Send the building address and unit number and we confirm coverage before anything else happens.
For SIREG and Simple Investor owners
Tenant.ca works under a management agreement: you remain the landlord and the lease stays between you and your tenant. We do not lease your unit from you, and this is management, not a guaranteed-rent program: rent is collected from your tenant and shown in your owner portal, payment by payment.

Tenant placement, at one month's rent plus HST, applies only when a vacant unit needs a new tenant. Repairs are separate: you receive an itemized estimate and approve the work before it starts, except emergency repairs. The fee for your property is confirmed in writing before work starts.
Chatham is one of the communities where Tenant.ca takes on units that SIREG managed. Send the building address and unit number and the team confirms coverage. How and when your agreement with SIREG can be ended depends on its terms and on the insolvency process, so have an Ontario lawyer review it before you give notice. Tenant.ca then prepares a management agreement for each unit, contacts your tenant and confirms the date rent moves over.
Yes. Management can start with a tenant in place: the tenancy and the rent stay as they are. Share the current lease, the rent status, any open repair requests and your preferred handover date, and the team confirms the scope and fee before anything changes for the tenant.
