This privacy policy aims to give you information on how Tenant.ca collects and processes your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through this website when you fill out the contact form, create an account, or submit a rental application.

You supply information through our forms, account tools, uploads and communications. Application and service records may also include information from an authorized representative, property owner, reference or screening provider, for the relevant purpose and subject to applicable consent.

The relevant Tenant.ca staff and assigned representatives use information needed for their work. A property owner or authorized reviewer may receive application information for the rental decision. Contractors receive the contact, access and work details needed for assigned maintenance. Providers supporting hosting, data storage, email, telephone communications or screening process the information needed for those services. Access depends on the role, property, purpose and applicable consent; a maintenance assignment does not authorize access to an applicant’s screening documents.
Enquiries, showing requests and applications are used for the service you requested. Newsletter and promotional preferences are separate from that request.
Where we ask for marketing consent, you can choose whether to subscribe. Optional analytics and marketing cookies follow the choices in the cookie controls.
